Greetings to the Populace and stalwart readers of the Plume!
The summer has been a busy one and shows no real signs of slowing down. We attend-ed and we mightily hosted at Stromgards event Stormgods last July.
More recently we attended Sport of Kings along with 17 other lands represented by both Royal and Landed nobility. The people of the Rivers Region came together, lead by Mis-tress Khalja and the Event Stewart Team. The Baronies efforts of inclusion and accessibility were noticed and commented on at every level. This should be taken as an excel-lent first step. We request and require future event teams to look for opportunities to continue to push the bar to a more welcoming and accessible Three Mountains and An Tir.
Court set a new record for fastest SoK court ever! Many local folks were recognized for their good works and their Majesties made it a point to include and support our Baronial Court as a major showpiece of the day. As usual, An Tir’s artisans truly outdid themselves in providing artifact level prizes for the various competitions.
In regards to our notice of Hate Speech, it was well received and supported by all those that choose to comment upon it. For those that might not have agreed or appreciated our mandate, they have chosen to remain silent. An updated copy of this wording will be included at all events we preside over until or unless it is adopted into our customary in some fashion.
Sir Olin is also in possession of 2 large tanks of fuel that do not appear to have a home. Are they yours? Contact Olin.
Her Excellency has been hard at work with the help of Baroness Erika and Mistress Katelin to research and update our Orders Rolls and get them up and running online. Look for this project to be finished in the first week of September.
A brief update on Seargantry: You should be incredibly proud of our Sergeant cohorts; both candidates and current members have been seen working in concert to see things assembled, assisted and completed. We have one candidate drop out due to life happen-ing, but of the remaining 13 candidates all are making excellent progress on their individual journeys and are anticipated to reach the finish line in December’s Yule event. Special thanks to Beak, Taliesan, Michael Sinclair, William Terrel, and Sebastien for their leadership. Please thank all of these worthies, for gratitude eases many a stern labor.
Our upcoming events are as follows, and as is our custom we invite any who are inter-ested in camping with us to contact Chingis via Facebook.
