Greetings to officers and populace of the Barony of Three Mountains,
Over the past month, we have been very busy. We went to Stromgard’s Founding Revel where both of us were honored to be judges in the Storm Maker Tournament. Congratulations to Anneke von Frankenstein who was victorious.
We attended Kingdom Arts & Sciences and Queen’s Rapier Championship. Our Arts & Sciences Champion, Baroness Jill Blackhorse competed in the Kingdom Arts & Sciences Competition and we heard many compliments on her entries. Our Rapier Champion Thomas O’Malley competed in the Queen’s Rapier Championship and went to the semi-finals. It was a great day for Three Mountains, with wonderful representation by both of our Champions.
This last weekend we attended Summits Coronet and had a wonderful time watching the fighting. Three Mountains was well represented again, providing quite a few of the Bye Fighters for the tournament. Thomas O’Malley competed in the Prize Rapier Tournament and won. Congratulations Thomas!
Next weekend is Carnevale hosted by Dragon’s Mist. Both of us will be attending the event and hope to see you there.
We would like to remind everyone that we don’t currently have events planned for Heavy and Rapier Champions tournaments, or our Yule celebration. These can be simple events, both day trip activities traditionally, but ones that require some time to ensure a viable site location. With appropriate guidance, these events are viable for someone new to running an event. We ask everyone to please consider taking on this challenge this year.
We have decided to open up the Sargeancy trials and are taking letters of intent at anytime. If you have any questions or would like to provide a letter of intent. Please email your letter to baron-baroness@baronyofthreemountains.org.
Our progress over the next month includes:
3/24/2018 Carnevale di Venezia, Dragon’s Mist
Yours In Service To The Dream,
Sebastiaen & Erika
Baron and Baroness Three Mountains
