2018 Baronial Polling Announcement

EDIT NOTIFICATION 10/15/18: The first Meet & Greet on October 21st has been cancelled due to a conflict.  The candidates will be present all day at the Orders & Customary Meeting on Saturday October 27th starting at 9am.  Details below have been updated.

Greetings unto the populace of Three Mountains,

Baron Sebastiaen des Roseaux and Baroness Erika the Dragon’s Mistress, would like to request nominations for those who would succeed them as the next set of Coronets of Three Mountains.  Nominations or letter of intent should be sent to Seneschal Kattera, via email to ThreeMountains.Seneschal@antir.org no later than September 30, 2018.

We request that all those who intend to apply please refrain from announcing their intention until the official list of candidates is released by the Crown.  After the official list of applicants is released, a modern and SCA resume must be submitted by October 15, 2018.  Note that confidential employment information does not need to be included, but that information if submitted will be posted on the branch website. The following outlines the remainder of the polling schedule, process and requirements.

  • Baronial meet and greet with the populace at The Oddfellows Hall, 10282 SE Main St. Milwaukie, OR
    Date/Time of Polling the Candidate Meet & Greet: Saturday Oct 27th, which will follow the Baronial Orders Meetings that begin at 9am. 
  • Only paid SCA members are eligible to receive a polling form.
  • Those who reside within the boundaries of the Barony will receive their forms in the mail which will be mailed out by November 1, 2018.
  • Officers and Sergeants residing outside this area or those requiring an absentee form must contact the Seneschal with proof of membership and mailing address no later than October 24, 2018.
  • Those who do not contact the Seneschal by this deadline will not receive a polling form.
  • Anyone who does not receive a polling form is welcome to send comments to the Crown directly by email to BOTH Crown addresses: king [AT] antir.org and queen [AT] antir.org
  • Polling forms must be returned by November 10, 2018.
