Players | 1 to many
- 2 six sided dice
- 9 markers
- Playing board
- Gambling trinkets for betting (you can keep track of points instead)
The goal of the game is for each player to cover as many squares on the board as possible during a single turn.
Taking a Turn
The player rolls the dice and covers the two numbers corresponding to the single die rolls or one number that is the total of the dice. Once 7, 8 and 9 have all been covered, the player continues to roll with only one die for the remainder of their turn. Continue to roll until the player can not cover a number.
- Score: Total all the numbers left uncovered on the playing board at the end of the turn.
After every player has had a turn, the player with the lowest score wins.
Alternate Gambling Rules
Each player pays the winner the difference between their own score and the winning total or each player can ante up at the beginning of the game – winner takes all at the end.
Single Player Version
A single player can play this game with the same rules as above as a form of patience or solitaire.Shut The Box (37.0 KiB)
